7 Questions Answered about Cord Cutting Sessions

7 Questions Answered about Cord CuttingAs we move through life, those that we enter into a relationship with, no matter how long-term or short-term, there is an exchange of energy. Through this exchange of energy, we learn life lessons, move through karma, and play out patterns. In a loving relationship that is healthy, there is a bond and exchange of unconditional love. However, it is very common to be in, or have come out, of relationships where the exchange of energy negatively impacted you and your life.

We all want to be happy in our relationships and not repeat the negative patterns that we thought we already got over. If you find that you are stuck in negative patterns or are limited by the influence or fear of another person, you may be affected by a negative energetic cord of attachment. Removing this cord can completely change your life for the better!

The following is  list of people that you may have energetic cords of attachment:

•  Bullies or Abusers
•  Parent(s) Biological or Adopted
•  Sibling(s)
•  Children
•  Ex-lovers, ex-spouses, or the coparent of your child
•  Friends from childhood
•  Spiritual teachers, healers or therapists who influenced you negatively
•  Challenging bosses, employees, co-workers or clients
•  Any other relationship which ended badly or without closure

In the video below, I address the following questions regarding Cord Cutting.

  1. What is a Cord Cutting?

Thanks Kate, To be honest, I’d heard of “cord cutting” but I really didn’t know a lot about it. Great explanation! Thanks for the detailed info. Carol

Great explanation, but it is my experience that one must cut their own cords. It cannot be done by another. For example, I cannot cut cords for you, but I can coach you(with permission) on how to do it yourself. Do you guide and instruct clients on how to cut cords? Thank you.

Great question, Annmari! Not everyone is aware of the energetic cords of attachment they are “carrying,” so I have found that it is beneficial to work with a healer or shaman if one suspects there is a blockage but not sure the root of it. When I work with individuals to cut cords, it is a fully participatory process. I am working with Archangel energy, asking full permission from the angels, the sitter and their Higher self, if we have permission to cut the cord. We are all involved in the cord cutting. 🙂

How long of a session is needed for a chord cutting. Do you do this via phone or in person?

    • Kate Moriah - March 14, 2018 at 9:25 pm Reply

Hello Barb! I apologize for the delayed reply! I know you have since had your question answered, but I will reiterate here: I recommend an hour session to do a Cord Cutting. This allows time for any other energy work to be done at the same time. And yes, absolutely, this can be done either by phone, Skype or in person. Wishing you well! xx
